Tia L. Warren, LCSW, CHT

Tia Warren is a licensed clinical social worker and a certified hypnotherapist. She is licensed as a clinical social worker by the Georgia Composite Board and awarded the status of Certified Hypnotherapist by the National Guild of Hypnotists. She graduated with a master's degree from Georgia State University and has practiced in a variety of settings including with the State of Georgia (Department of Family and Children Services, Juvenile and Drug Court), Core Community Agencies, Psychiatric hospitals and in clinical private practice settings working directly with a psychiatrist. She has worked with a psychotherapy group in Atlanta and is now operating her private practice in Lilburn, GA.

Tia specializes in helping women and their families heal from past trauma and gain a deeper understanding of related symptoms.  Tia has been trained in CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), IFS (Internal Family Systems) and a variety of other modalities.  She has experience helping individuals suffering with major life transitions (divorce, loss of a loved one, career changes, etc), depression, anxiety, self esteem, eating disorders and other symptoms.

 

Tia also has experience helping couples navigate difficult times through helping them improve their communication and conflict resolution skills.
